Armed Forces Day 2019

Ealing paid tribute to our armed forces and servicemen and women, past and present, with a parade and service outside Ealing Town Hall and Ealing War Memorial on Sunday, 29 June.

Speeches and presentations were made by the mayor of Ealing, Councillor Abdullah Gulaid; leader of the council Julian Bell; and Deputy Lieutenant Richard Kornicki. MP Rupa Huq was also among the other dignitaries in attendance.

The British Imperial Military Band provided music as a large number, and variety, of cadets joined the parade. They were also joined by members of the British Gurkha Association.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”4/6″][vc_media_grid style=”load-more” items_per_page=”9″ item=”mediaGrid_ScaleWithRotation” btn_add_icon=”true” btn_custom_onclick=”true” grid_id=”vc_gid:1576257606080-ad46cd60-4261-2″ include=”132749,132750,132751,132752,132753,132754,132755,132756,132757,132758,132759,132760″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/6″][vc_column_text]
