Reporting incidents in Hanwell

Ealing Council is working closely with the police to deal with incidents of anti-social behaviour in Hanwell around the clock tower.

The council and police are also collaborating with third sector partners, including our rough sleeping outreach service, drug and alcohol intervention services and housing services to give those in need the support and stability they need.

There have been a number of reports of incidents that have been shared on social media. For incidents to be dealt with properly they need to be reported in the right way.

In order to properly deal with issues in Hanwell we are asking residents to use the following contact information:

Call 999 – if someone is in immediate danger or you witness a crime

Call 101 – if you witness anti-social behaviour and for non-emergencies

Call 020 7161 9175 – Elthorne safer network team

Contact street link – for someone who is homeless and needs assistance

Contact the council – to report fly tipping

Attend a ward forum meeting – where the safer communities team and local councillors will be in attendance.

The police have increased patrols in the last few weeks in the area so residents will notice an increase in patrols. There have currently been two prosecutions from incidents in the area.

Cllr Camadoo, cabinet member for community safety and inclusion said:“Just to underline how important reporting is – it will provide the basis for the police and the council being able to take effective longer term action against those driving anti-social behaviour.

“Thank you for your support in helping to address anti-social behaviour in the area.”
