Half-term family activities

Are you looking for some exciting activity ideas for you and the children this half-term? Look no further.

Learn Ealing has carefully prepared a few workshops for you and your family, delivered by qualified and experienced tutors. Have a look at these short workshops that you can enjoy with your children:

  • Family cooking: fresh fruit tart – free workshop taking place online on Tuesday, 15 February from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Indulge everyone at home by making a delicious cream pastry tart, decorating it with different fresh fruits – blueberries, strawberries or whatever you prefer. Get creative and have fun while cooking together with your children. Join us and other local families virtually and let’s get cooking together.
  • Singalong story telling – a free workshop at West Ealing Library on Tuesday, 22 February 10.30am to 12.30pm. Sign up with your younger children (aged up to five) to develop their reading skills in an entertaining way. Join us for some singing and dancing. Singalong story telling workshop is also taking place on 1 March 2022.

Councillor Jasbir Anand, cabinet member for thriving communities comments:

“Bringing people together – whether virtually or in person – builds strong neighbourhoods and communities. It is also so important for our mental health and to reduce social isolation, which affect too many of our residents. I’d encourage you to sign up to Learn Ealing’s various workshops and courses this half-term where you can learn something new whilst having fun with your family.”
