Ealing Council is now a youth friendly employer

Ealing Council is officially a ‘youth friendly employer’ and is working hard to support young residents into training and employment.

The council has signed up to the youth friendly employer charter set out by Youth Employment UK – which brings together young people, employers, and policy with the aim of having a positive impact on young people’s job chances.

Having this youth friendly employer badge shows that the council is committed to best youth employment practices as an organisation, helping young people access great work. Ealing Council is doing this by offering roles with achievable entry requirements, providing career support, as well as courses and workshops to suit all interests and knowledge levels. It is always working towards making the council a place young people from all backgrounds can thrive in and it aims to have this ethos at the core of all the work it does.
