Lynn Wilson - Stockdove Way in Perivale misty morning

This is your 2019 winter winner

This photo of a misty morning in Stockdove Way in Perivale by Lynn Wilson was voted by residents as the winner of our sixth Seasons of Ealing photography competition.

We picked a shortlist of six pictures from the many sent in to us by readers – and we then ran a public poll for residents to select a winner. The poll closed last night (Thursday).

RUNNER-UP: Neil Davies – steps outside St Marys Church next to Brent Valley Golf Course

The runner-up was by Neil Davies, and was a photo of steps outside St Mary’s Church next to Brent Valley Golf Course.

It was a close call who won out of these front-runners and it was neck-and-neck until near the end.

You can still view all six shortlisted photos in the gallery.

People entered their own snaps taken in the borough during the winter months (within the last year). Thank you to everyone who entered. After the deadline for entries, a judging panel had the job of choosing a shortlist for residents to vote for in our poll.

The winning photo, and the runner-up, will be included in the February edition of Around Ealing magazine.
