Tennis summer 2017

Tennis served up for you

Have you been enjoying Wimbledon? To celebrate the Great British Tennis Weekend on 22-23 July, free taster sessions are going to be held – and you can get 25% off junior tennis courses.

Better, which runs a number of the borough’s sports centres for Ealing Council, is organising the free taster sessions at Queensmead Sports Centre in Ruislip. They will be held between 10am-4pm on both Saturday, 22 July and Sunday, 23 July.

There will be a range of sessions for children and adults, as well as refreshments and prize giveaways.

You can book a session online or just turn up and see if you can join in. Thousands of free events will be taking place throughout the summer and all across the country, with sessions to suit the whole family. Racquets and balls will be provided so, whether you have never played before or you are a seasoned regular, there is fun to be had.

Now, book some lessons…

Meanwhile, Better is offering you the chance to get 25% off the junior tennis courses it runs for children and teenagers – everyone aged from three years old up to 18 years old.

The tennis lessons follow the latest Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) guidelines and are delivered by licensed and registered LTA coaches. The lessons are run on a rolling basis that allows pupils to join at any stage and progress at their own pace. There are courts and equipment adapted for every age group.

All you have to do to get the 25% discount is use the online voucher, T4KLDNWEST, when signing up at www.better.org.uk/lessons
