Better for residents

My Account brings services together online making it easier and quicker for customers to do business online with the council across a range of services through a single sign-on. It launched in December 2019, giving residents access to manage their council tax and benefits online. It has continued to grow, with business rates, housing rents and repairs added in October last year.

The new options, coming online this month, will help you to do more online range across a number of council services including recycling, highways, parks and street services.

Residents will be able to log and track reports for:

  • Graffiti and flyposting
  • Fly-tipping
  • Street cleaning issues
  • Road or pavement defects
  • Abandoned vehicles
  • Problem in a park
  • Problem with a tree

Business customers will be able to apply and pay for:

  • Skip company applications
  • Skip licenses
  • Commercial waste collections
  • Temporary structure licenses
  • Temporary traffic road orders

Without leaving home

Huneljot Grewal, Southall resident, said: “My Account has made the process of interacting with the council so much faster and easier, and the great thing is you only have to register once.

“With these new environment services added, I can report and request most of the common things I would normally have called the council about online. I can do business with the council my own way without having to leave home.”
