More of your jubilee photos

We had so many nice photos of you celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee that we decided to share some more.

Earlier this week, we showed some fantastic jubilee photos taken by photographers Alex Sturrock and Mickey Lee and also by local people. They were of the beacon-lighting at Walpole Park in Ealing and Northala Fields in Northolt, the Big Jubilee Lunch and Proms in the Park events organised by Ealing Council – as well as some from among the 150 official street parties that took place across the borough, and a few other celebratory images besides.

The beacons were lit on Thursday, 2 June at dusk. Then, on Sunday (5 June), the council hosted the Big Jubilee Lunch in Walpole Park. And, the same evening, the Ealing Symphony Orchestra led a Prom in the Park with a guest appearance from singer Gweneth Ann Rand. A brilliant time seemed to be had by all who attended, enjoying the picnics, music and dancing and then, for those at the concert, a spectacular firework finale.

And the street parties seemed to be just as joyous. Here, without further ado, are some more photos supplied by residents. With thanks to Elisabeth Lutz, Yolande Gittens, Pascale Rozand-Jacob, Syed Hasan, Rosemary Nash, Miriam Royle, Tracy Brown, Sophie Daguerre, Thelma Eccles, Philly Codrington, Catherine Mistry and Megan Gong. Thanks also to the Solace Centre in West Ealing for the photo we used in our previous article.
