This is the Seasons of Ealing winter photo competition winner voted for by thousands of you, our readers. Maybe you have what it takes to be the spring contest winner?
As well as the winning photo appearing here in Around Ealing magazine, the winning photographer will receive the top prize of a pair of tickets to watch a film at Ealing Picturehouse cinema. The 2 runners-up will also receive an Ealing Picturehouse cinema ticket.
From misty mornings to snow-smattered streets, the latest entries captured the essence of winter across the borough. Our panel first whittled them down to a shortlist of 5 and these were then put to a public vote to pick the top 3 favourites, which were then put to a judging panel for the final decision.
And the winners were…
Adele Gonzague secured the top spot with her photo of a couple walking their dog in Lime Trees Park, Northolt.
The runners-up were Dora Lokietka with a picture taken near the Brent River in Hanwell.
And Frank Kilduff’s entry of a robin on a Firethorn branch in his Greenford garden.

Well done to everyone who was shortlisted and thank you so much to everyone who took part.
Could you be our spring winner?
Email your photo to aroundealing@ealing.gov.uk by the closing deadline for entries, which is 11.59pm on Monday 4 May 2026.
For your photo to be considered, you must:
• put Seasons of Ealing in the subject line of the email
• include your name, postal address and phone number
• include a brief description of what the photo is of, when you took it and where you took it
• state that the photo was taken by you, and that you also have permission of any people whose faces appear in the photo to enter the photo into the Seasons of Ealing competition
• make sure the image is of a high enough resolution to be reproduced online and in print (poor quality images will not be considered)
What happens next?
At that point, a shortlist will be selected and put to a public vote. The voters will once again decide the top 3 entries, but then our panel of judges will choose the final winner from that top 3.
The result will be announced in the next edition of Around Ealing magazine.
Other things to know
By entering the competition, you are agreeing for your photo to be reproduced in Around Ealing magazine, on this website, and the council’s social media channels. No remuneration will be possible, but you will be named as the photographer if it is used in the Around Ealing magazine or website.
We will not, unfortunately, be able to reply to everyone who has entered the competition.
If any image is found not to have been taken in the borough, or to have broken any of the other conditions outlined above, the photo will be disqualified from the competition.
The key is that it must have been taken in the borough in the last 12 months – and, it must have been taken by you.
Once again, the public will get to influence the final choice, so, even if you don’t enter, you can still get involved.
