The free, monthly jobs, health and housing service Advice Plus is celebrating its first anniversary on Thursday (14 July) – and you could win a £50 shopping voucher just by going along.
Advice Plus is free to all residents living in the borough and provides a range of confidential, one-to-one guidance on a variety of issues. It is provided by A2Dominion with the support of Ealing Council.
It can provide you with advice on employment and training, health and wellbeing, energy bills, managing finances, as well as digital training. It is also giving people guidance on the recent benefits changes and other housing queries.
This session at Ealing Town Hall (on Thursday, 14 July between 1-4pm) will also give you the chance to win a £50 shopping voucher – with all who attend being entered into a prize draw.
A2Dominion customer Tanya Bell, who recently attended an Advice Plus session in Ealing, said: “I popped into the session just to see what was going on – and I’m so glad I went. I was making overpayments on my rent, but it was only by going to the Ealing Advice Plus that I found out that I could claim them back. I’d definitely tell others to attend; it’s a fantastic free service.”
You do not need to book an appointment – just drop in any time between 1-4pm. The sessions are held on the first Thursday of every month.
