Five speed networking sessions will take place across two days as part of Ealing Business Expo 2020, giving you the chance to meet lots of other local business people in a short space of time – and start to build valuable contacts.
The popular annual event is free to attend and will take place across two days: Monday, 23 March and Tuesday, 24 March. You can already register an interest in having an exhibition stand – or sign-up for updates as the organisers gear-up for the event.
Each year, Ealing Business Expo provides local groups, services, businesses and individuals the chance to come together, swap ideas and take part in business-building, networking and hearing local experts share their stories for success.
Speed networking has proved one of the most popular elements of the event, so the number of sessions has been increased to five at Expo 2020.
Carlene Bender, from organisers The ContactUs Network, said: “Speed networking is a quick and guaranteed way to get your business brand noticed by a large number of people in a short period of time. Over the space of 45 minutes, a participant will have about a minute of one-to-one, face-to-face time to tell each of about 20 people what their business is about. You never know who you’re going to meet there. Quite often it’s businesses that you recognise from social media anyway, and it’s typically very exciting, noisy and energetic.”
Around 700 people are expected to attend the event from across London – and many businesses or groups will opt to have an exhibition stand.
But, if you do not have your own business but have simply dreamed of starting one, you are still encouraged to attend free of charge as a visitor to get advice and be inspired.
As well as the speed networking, there are opportunities to join in panel discussions and round-table talks, information and advice sessions, guest talks and workshops.
The Expo will be held between 11am-5pm on both days at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Ealing Common (2-8 Hanger Lane W5 3HN). It is organised by The ContactUs Network and has been supported each year by Ealing Council and other local organisations and businesses.
