The London Pride march was made even more colourful as Ealing Council staff proudly joined the event last weekend.
They marched in solidarity with tens of thousands of others in a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, to represent the borough and reaffirm the council’s commitment to being an inclusive and welcoming organisation.
Councillor Polly Knewstub, the council’s cabinet member for healthy equal lives, said: “Pride is not only a celebration of how far society has come, but also a reminder of the work still to be done.
“It’s about visibility, solidarity and joy – and reaffirming Ealing Council’s commitment to being an inclusive and welcoming organisation for all.
“Together, we are working towards a borough where everyone can be their authentic selves.”
