Pack a picnic and soak up a summer evening with a special performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Gunnersbury Park.

And, Around Ealing has teamed up with the theatre production company, East London Shakespeare Festival (ELSF), to offer 1 lucky reader the chance to win free tickets in this exclusive competition.

ELSF will be entertaining audiences with a high-energy, family-friendly version of William Shakespeare’s comedy in the park on Thursday 9 July at 7:30pm.

This lively outdoor production, bursting with romance and magic, puts a fresh spin on Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy. Follow Hermia, Lysander, Helena and Demetrius into an enchanted forest where a group of mischievous fairies turn their world upside down.

Prize details

ELSF is offering 1 lucky reader a prize of either:

  • a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children under-16 or 1 adult and 3 under-16s
  • 1 pair of full-price adult tickets

You must enter before the deadline of 5pm on Monday 6 July 2026.

After the deadline, a winner will be drawn out at random and notified on Tuesday 7 July.

Only 1 entry is permitted per person.

Only the winner will be notified. If the winner does not respond within a time deemed reasonable/appropriate to the competition prize, a new winner might be drawn at random instead and awarded the prize.

Other information

Your contact details will be used for the purpose of administering the competition and contacting the winner to notify them of the prize. And, if you are the winner, we may also need to pass them on to the organisation/company that is due to provide you with the prize in order for you to claim it.

The entry deadline and the random selection of the winner is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions may be disqualified. If the winning entry is disqualified for any reason, the council reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

There is no cash alternative to the prize. The council does not accept any liability on behalf of any third party supplying the prize. Some terms and conditions of the third-party supplier may also apply to the prize.
