Free repairs in Southall

Saddle up – residents can give their bicycle a bit of TLC thanks to a FREE council service which is offering a number of maintenance sessions in Southall and across the borough.

Dr. Bike, which offers free minor maintenance sessions is now at two different locations in Southall. Whether you want to come along to fix a bike you regularly use, or one you have left outside that needs a bit of love and care – come along to Dr. Bike to get your bike on the road.

Free cycling maintenance takes place on the last Saturday of every month in Southall and can be found at:

  • Southall Manor House, 10am-1pm,
  • Southall Square, outside Lidl, 2-5pm

The sessions in Southall are organised by Let’s Go Southall, which is a community run project that aims to get more residents active.

Councillor Jasbir Anand, cabinet member for thriving communities said: “If you have a bike that is in need of repair, get it down to Southall Manor House or the square so that you can get out on your bike.

“This initiative is a great way of getting residents who wouldn’t usually get out on their bikes and I encourage everyone to take up this offer and get their bikes fixed.”

If you would like to guarantee a slot for the Southall Manor House and Southall Square sessions, please email Lets Go Southall at activity@accteams.uk
