Have you got ideas about how Southall could be made even better?
You can have your say by taking part in a survey that will help Ealing Council to shape a 10-year economic vision for the town, particularly the Broadway, The Green, and industrial areas.
The survey also considers ways to improve the area around Southall Station and Merrick Road.
The council wants to hear from everyone who lives, works, studies, shops, or spends time in Southall. Feedback will help shape proposals to support local businesses, improve public spaces, and make the area more welcoming for everyone.
Councillor Monica Hamidi, the council’s cabinet member for good growth, said: “Southall is a vibrant and much-loved part of our borough, and it is important that local people help shape its future. We want to hear your ideas so we can build a plan that reflects the needs of residents, businesses, and communities.”
Take part
You can take part by filling in a short online survey, which takes about 10 minutes to complete. The survey asks simple questions about what you like about Southall, and what you would like to see change in the future. The survey is open until 11:59pm on 5 July 2026. It is available in several languages, including Punjabi, Polish, Somali, Ukrainian, Tamil, and Urdu. Take part in the online survey.
You can also share your views in person at a drop-in event, which will be held in the Dominion Centre, The Green, Southall, on Tuesday 30 June from 3-6pm.
Staff from the council’s regeneration, investment and jobs team will be there to answer questions and help people fill in the survey.
