Ealing Summer Festivals: free tickets up for grabs

It is Pride Month, and celebrations are set to continue into next month with a vibrant day of LGBTQ+ music, performance and community in Walpole Park – with limited free tickets available for residents.

As One in the Park, London’s biggest LGBTQ+ day festival, returns to the borough for its third year on Saturday 18 July.

From midday to 10pm, visitors can enjoy a packed day of entertainment – from DJs and drag shows to live acts, cabaret and comedy at this over-18s event.

Tickets are available online, and residents of the borough can access a limited number of free As One in the Park tickets via this special link, using the code: iloveealing

Star-studded entertainment

As One in the Park offers a full day of dancing, celebration and self-expression. This year’s line-up is led by Brazilian global superstar Pabllo Vittar, alongside house legend Todd Terry, DJ and TV personality Gok Wan, world-famous DJ Fat Tony, and drag superstar Miss Vanjie.

Latino Life: more free tickets

The celebrations continue with Latino Life in the Park, which returns to Walpole Park the following day, Sunday 19 July, from midday to 10pm.

Residents of the borough can also access limited free Latino Life tickets via this special link, using the code iloveealing.

Recognised as the UK’s biggest Latin music festival, Latino Life will transform Walpole Park into a showcase of the sounds, flavours and traditions of Latin America. Across 4 stages, visitors can enjoy salsa, bachata, reggaeton and samba, with live bands, DJs and performers throughout the day.

Family activities, a dedicated kids’ zone and a carnival atmosphere throughout the park ensures the event offers a full day of entertainment. Food is another big attraction, with more than 20 traders serving everything from street food favourites to regional specialities.

Amarinta Wright, founder and director of Latino Life, said: “Ealing has been a very important part of LatinoLife’s journey and success. We’ve felt welcomed from the year we arrived. LatinoLife in the Park…is our flagship event that literally takes ‘into the park’ everything we do all year round and says to the public: this is who we are.”

Bringing people together

Councillor Paul Driscoll, the council’s cabinet member for healthy equal lives, said: “This is exactly what summer in Ealing should feel like – joyful, inclusive and full of life. As One in the Park and Latino Life in the Park both celebrate the diversity that makes our borough so special, bringing people together through music, culture and shared experience. I’d encourage residents to take advantage of this fantastic ticket offer and be part of what promises to be an unforgettable weekend.”
