Who is standing for election in your area?

The names of all the candidates standing in the local election have been released.

There are 367 candidates standing across the borough’s 24 ‘wards’ (neighbourhoods) on the big day, on Thursday 7 May.

In 22 of the wards, voters will pick 3 councillors; while, in the remaining 2 wards, voters will choose 2 councillors. A ward is an area of the borough. Each ward is listed below, with links to the list of candidates standing in each ward.

The election: what do I need to know?

Local elections give eligible voters the chance to choose the councillors who will represent their ward on Ealing Council for the next 4 years.

To vote in this election you must be registered to vote. If you have not registered yet you can register to vote online. But you must do it soon because the deadline to register is at 11.59pm on Monday 20 April.

You can also register to vote by post.. You can apply to vote by post online. The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday 21 April. Find out more in our article on postal voting.

To vote in this local election you must be 18 or over on the day of the election, be a British, Irish, Commonwealth or qualifying EU citizen.

Details of your local polling station, including a map, will be on your polling card. It can also be found using your nearest polling station finder. Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm on election day, Thursday 7 May and photo ID must be brought to vote. Find out the acceptable forms of ID to bring here.
