Ealing Council leader Peter Mason said: “Our first ever Ealing Climate Week is about sharing the everyday ways that we can save money, improve our health and build connections in our communities whilst also benefitting the environment. The number of community groups who have got involved shows how much activity is already happening and I’d like to thank all the volunteers, businesses, schools and others for making Ealing Climate Week happen.”
“Get involved”
Councillor Paul Driscoll, the council’s cabinet member for climate action, said: “There’s a huge range of events and advice available across the borough during Ealing Climate Week, whether you want to save money on school uniform, cut your energy bills or get fitter and make friends in your neighbourhood. We want everyone to get involved. Please keep an eye on our Ealing Climate Week website because more events are being added all the time.”
