Welcome to the October 2017 edition of Around Ealing magazine. Leaves are falling, the weather is turning, and there will be so many seasonal scenes to capture on your camera. It could be your children kicking up a big pile of leaves, or walking under boughs of trees, shorn of their canopy; it could be a squirrel in the garden gathering provisions for the winter ahead; or a robin brandishing its rosy chest as it puffs up with pride; it could be a misty common in the early morning; a resplendent dusk in the rush hour as the nights draw in. There are so many possibilities – and plenty I will not have thought of. I hope you will feel inspired to enter our photo competition Seasons of Ealing (see page eight).
